The black screen error, also popularly known as the black screen of death issue, is a widespread glitch on Android smartphones. Samsung Galaxy S10 series users also experience this bug, even though Galaxy S10, S10E, and S10 Plus are the most performant smartphones released in 2019, so far, and they come with some excellent features and functions. In this post, we’ll show you how to fix the black screen of death issue on Galaxy S10 series.

The black screen of death issue appears due to some reasons, but most commonly physical damage due to a drop or liquid exposure is the culprit. However, if nothing like that happened to your device, then the glitch might be produced by a conflict caused by a third-party app, a software bug, or firmware-related issue.

Before getting started, you should check if the smartphone is turning on. Many people confuse a black screen issue with a no power one. The latter is due to battery draining, and the phone won’t turn on in that case. The black screen of death means that your smartphone’s display goes dark, but the phone remains functions and even boots up.

Use Galaxy S10 in Safe Mode

If your smartphone is still presenting a black screen issue after a forced reboot, you should try using it your phone in Safe Mode. If while in Safe Mode your Galaxy S10, S10E, or S10 Plus works without any glitches, then a third-party app might cause the black screen of death issue.
