Investigate for Server Issue

Probably the first thing that you should do is to check the servers of Origin and see if they have been down lately or not. You can make use of websites like DownDetector and Outage.Report. If you see that the Origin servers are experiencing any issues then you should probably wait and let the time pass and check again whether the server issues have been fixed by Origin or not. This also indicates that not only you but others are also affected by this issue and it will probably get fixed soon.

Run as Admin

Permission issues can also be one of the reasons why you are experiencing the Download error with the Origin. It might turn out that you are not running Origin with admin privileges.
