How to Fix Destiny 2 Error Code Chard

1. Check Server Issues

First of all, you will need to check the Bungie server-status officially to get notified whether there is any server downtime happening or not. If in case, there is a server downtime or outage appearing then wait for a couple of hours and check back again. Even after waiting for a while, the server down then you should contact to Bungie support.

2. Repair Game using Battle.net

  • Force close the Destiny 2 game on your PC then relaunch the Battle.net client.
  • Click on the Games tab > Choose Destiny 2 from the list of games in the left-pane.
  • Click on Options > Click on Scan & Repair.
  • Now, click on Begin Scan and wait for the process to complete.
  • Once done, restart your PC and launch the game to check for the issue.

3. Clear Console Cache

  • Turn off the console completely.
  • Now, unplug the power cable from the console and from the power socket as well.
  • Wait for around a couple of minutes and plug back in the cable.
  • Power on the console and relaunch the Destiny 2 game.

4. Power Cycle your Router

  • Turn off the Wi-Fi Router and unplug the adapter from the power socket.
  • Unplug the cable from the router as well.
  • Wait for a couple of seconds and then plug back in the cable & adapter.
  • Turn on the router and try running the game again.

5. Restart Battle.net and Sign in again

  • Launch Blizzard’s Battle.net application, click on your account from the top-right corner.
  • Click on Log Out > Confirm the task and wait for your account to be logged out.
  • Now, click on the tray-bar from the taskbar > Right-click on the Battle.net icon > Select Quit to force close the client.
  • Next, relaunch the Battle.net client > Sign in again with your existing account.
  • Launch Destiny 2 and check for the issue.

6. Update Windows

  • Click on Start > Select Settings menu > Update & Security.
  • Next, click on Check for updates.
  • If there is a new Windows update available, just Download and Install it.
  • Once done, restart your PC and try running the game.

7. Update Graphics Drivers

  • Click on Start > Type Device Manager and click on it from the search result.
  • Click on the arrow icon beside Display adapters.
  • Now, right-click on the display graphics and select Update driver.
  • Click on Search automatically for updated driver software.
  • It will search for the driver update and if available, it will automatically download and install it.
  • Once done, your PC will ask you to restart the system.
