Roblox is a fun game, but sooner or later, you might want to uninstall from your system. For Windows users, a standalone uninstaller is provided so you can uninstall it easily. But if you want to uninstall or delete Roblox from MacOS, then there are some manual steps you need to take.

Deleting apps from Mac OS is kind of tricky if you want to remove its residual files. I wish MacOS applications also came with their own installer. But at this moment, either you can delete the residue game files manually, or you can use any free uninstaller app.

How To Delete Roblox From MacOS

To remove Roblox form your macOS, you will have to trash all Roblox related files and contents. This will delete your game data, too, so if you don’t want to lose your games. Take a backup before proceeding. Even more, make sure that you have quit the Roblox game or studio.

In the Task Management Window, you will see a bunch of applications that are running. Find if Roblox, Roblox studio, or any Roblox game is running. Select if running, and click on  Force Quit. Now, you can proceed manually to trash Roblox to delete it from your PC.

If the Roblox or Roblox studio is running in the background, it will cause conflict during uninstallation.

To check whether the Roblox, Roblox game, or Roblox studio is running in the background or not, open up the Task Management Windows by pressing the Command + Option + Esc on your keyboard.

Step 1) Firstly, you will have to open up the application window. Therefore, on your desktop, click on the Go option from the Menubar and select Applications from the menu.

Step 2) In the Application Window, you will see all the installed applications on your macOS. Here, scroll down and find Roblox and Roblox Studio.

The Roblox application you have installed on your macOS will install two applications. One is the Roblox Studio, which helps you to create or edit Roblox games, etc.

The Roblox application is the actual application that gives you access to the Roblox games, so you can play it.

So, once you have found the Roblox and Roblox Studio applications in the Application Window, drag them to the Trash Bin or right-click and select Move to trash.

Step 3) Once you have moved the Roblox and Roblox Studio applications to the Trash, click on the Apple icon and select Restart. A prompt will appear, click on the Restart button and restart your MacOS.

Step 4) After you have to restart your Mac, click on the Go option on the Menu bar and select Go to Folders from the Menu. The go-to folder will appear on the screen, there type ~/Library, and then click on the Go option.

Once the User Library Folder opens up, go to the caches directory, right-click on the com.Roblox.Roblox folder. Then select Move to Trash from the menu to remove it.

Step 5) Now, go back to the Library folder and then click on the logs folder. The path is ~/Library/Logs. In the Logs folder, select the Roblox folder, right-click on it, and select Move to Trash to delete it.

Step 6) Go to the path ~/Library/Preferences directory, select all the items there related to Roblox.

Particularly there will be five or three files that will contain your Roblox configurations. The file name will start with com.Roblox. 

After you have selected the files, you can drag them to the Trash bin, or right-click and select Move to Trash.

Step 7) Move back to the Library directory again, select the Roblox folder, right-click on it, and select Move to Trash, the path is ~/Library/Roblox.

Step 8) It is the last Roblox related folder that you must delete manually to completely uninstall Roblox from your Mac OS.

Go to the path ~/Library/Saved Application State directory, there select the com.Roblox.robloxStudio.savedState folder, right-click on it, and select Move to Trash.

Step 9) Lastly, to remove all the files permanently, click open your Trash Bin, and click on the Empty button. Select the Empty Trash button from the prompt Window.

All the Roblox-related files will be deleted. Hence you have uninstalled Roblox from your Mac completely.
