How to customize hardware keyboard settings on iPad
- Open up Settings > General > Keyboard.
- Tap on Hardware Keyboard.
- You’ll now be presented with three options: Auto-Capitalization, Auto-Correction, and “.” shortcut.
While there aren’t many options to choose from, the three come in handy. Especially, the caps lock one as you can’t disable shift/caps lock at the beginning of a sentence. For example, it’s impossible to type “iOS” at the beginning of a sentence.
